Live edge dining tables, the table pictured is a stunning slab of English horse chestnut(conker tree), a tree that every English boy of a certain age used to plunder every autumn, I was one of them.
I never realised that I would be using its timber to make live edge dining tables, it is a stunning much under rated timber and has some lovely markings.
This slab was chosen for its live edge for a customer. With our help they designed the stand, which we then fabricated and sprayed to match several pieces in their home.
As the name implies we try to keep the natural shape of the slabs so once finished and polished still give the appearance of a very natural organic piece of furniture, the possibilities of these table are endless.
I think the combination works well a beautiful live edge dining table.
Any of our live edge dining tables will look beautiful in any home and be a really lovely focal point.
